If the Novell networks over time were slowly migrated to linux networks,
they would already be in place to use the Novell/SuSE distro. Maybe they
see that once they make Novell run on linux, companies will want to
migrate everything to linux and that would be covered with a payable
support for Novell/SuSe distro, which large corporation pay for, which
is already there with SuSE with no development needed.
