Yes, until the router dies, which happens up to every few minutes.
Sometimes, as I'm typing in pine or vi over an SSH session over 802.11b,
it pauses for a few seconds and then resumes. Maybe that's the same
phenomenon that kills the IM protocols, only SSH is less sensitive to it.

Guess: memory leak in the 802.11b code of the router, exacerbated by lots
of small packets.

I'll try that, and see if that makes it better.
