I compiled 0.76 from source today. In the process, I also had to compile
libgpg-error, libgcrypt, libtasn1, opencdk, and gnutls, in that order.
It's acted a lot better today -- MSN Messenger protocol died a few times
-- but I'll see how it acts in the longer term.

Right now I have /usr/bin/gaim (0.75, from an RPM) and /usr/local/bin/gain
(0.76, from source). Is there any way, other than manually moving
/usr/local/bin/gaim, to get the compiled-from-source one to overwrite the
RPM one? I just "chmod a-x /usr/bin/gaim", to make sure it doesn't run.

I don't have a way of compiling for Windows, so I'm stuck with 0.75 there.
