Centronics 50 to db 68 converter. You will probably have to special order
from Adaptec. I had used the adapters many times in say 1987, but have not
seen them since. Or you could replace the whole cable. One side having the
scanner connection, c-50 the other side having db 68 to connect to the card.
Some place like computer buyers warehouse might still carry them, but at a
premium price.

Subject: [SLUG] SCSI adapter?

I have a SCSI card, which lspci says is an "Adaptec AHA-2940U/UW/D /
AIC-7881U (rev 01)". It uses aic-7xxx.o . Its external port has 50(?
68?) contacts. I don't know what it's called, but it's short and wide, and
it looks like a mating plug is held into it by hooks, a pair on each end.
(Never used it, not sure.) I also have a Microtek Scanmaker II, which has a
Centronics 50 on it, which usually connects to the host through a cable
whose other end is a DB-25. Those cables are easy to find; I have several.

How would I connect this scanner to my computer?
