I use a Compaq Armada M700 Pentium 3 (700MHz) laptop. I'm having
problems with the system completely and immediately freezing up whenever
the power is connected or disconnected from the laptop.
I'm currently using Slackware 10.1 but had the same issue with Red Hat
Enterprise Linux AS 4.0
Can someone help me understand how Linux works with the hardware for
power management? Am I looking up the right tree?
