As long as all you want to do is recover the data, you
should be able to mount the partitions off of the raw
devices without the raid configuration. The raid
tools only modify header metadata and not partition
layout (at least that has been my experience).
So you should be able to mount the partitions on
/dev/hde directly, then share them out. They won't be
mirrored, so keep that in mind if updates are made.
