That is plenty for that purpose. Even a 233 w/96MB RAM could easily handle the
same chore.

Yes, it can be used as a multipurpose server. But keep in mind that the more
services that are running, the more the risk of a possible breach.

You would be better off security wise using an older bottom of the food chain
pc as the firewall/router, and using the other pc as the multipurpose server.
