It's been awhile since I took those GenEd Criminal Justice courses in
college, but if memory serves me correctly this is strictly a civil matter
and not criminal (i.e. no jail time). Unless Sony can be shown to have
caused irrepairable harm (and elevated blood pressure and broken monitors
due to errant flying objects *do not* count) this will remain a civil matter
and nothing but monetary gains/losses will occur.

This may or may not reflect my personal feelings on the subject, but unless
we institute a police state this is how it will be. Fight or no fight, get
used to it.
