I was given an Epson C86 printer which turns out to be no bargain as it
goes through a lot of expensive ink cartridges even though my usage is
minimal. I also find I have to run through 1 or 2 cleaning cycles every
time I use it after I haven't used it for a while (which is most of the
time I use it). So it is inconvenient as well as expensive.
Anyone own a printer which works well with Linux and is fairly cheap to
run for very light usage?
Maybe a laser type printer (toner) would work best for me, I don't print
photos often. Maybe not though: would it take too long to warmup or use
a lot of power staying warm?
Pointers to good info on the web appreciated also.
