Bill,
The few times that I have been able to attend, I have always got something
out of it, sometimes it is stellar and sometimes it is just horse sense but
I got something that made Linux and OSS easier, that is the important
part.

I do not know how many are in the same boat that I am but seems in the
tech world anymore a lot of us have to travel if we are going to see the bux
and indeed that is why I am unable get to the meetings, (I am off to Mexico
City this week, was in Columbia, SC last week), Burnout is a terrible thing
but it happens to all of us (I am sick of airports) and perhaps a while setting
in the Tampa meeting will refresh you and get you ready to go again. Mean
while when I am in town I will go to the Tampa meetings...

We need to put out sights on what else we can bring to OSS, and how we
can make it all more accepted. Linux is now a lot more common, I am quite
surprised at the number of people I run into now who have at least one box
at home with Linux on it. It was not that long ago that I was looked at as
'unique' for having it on my laptop, now people tell me regularly that they have
a box running Linux at home. I do not see that many laptops yet, but I think
that will change too.
