Alright, I am getting tired of the way I have to remove my external hard
drive. I am running ubuntu 6.06 and I have a firewire external hard drive.
When I eject the drive to remove it, it gives me an error message: Cannot
eject volume. I just turn the drive off. It gives me the error message:
Unsafe device removal. I don't get an option to umount the device.
When I check the properties of the HD it says "no" for removable.
Do I have to add this device into my etc/fstab file?
