If you shoot this good in the dark, you'll be deadly with the
lights on.

I just commented out the Load "dri" in XF86Config (I assume
that's where I was supposed to do it).

I now have a blank screen with an X in the middle on VC 7, and
another blank screen with an X on VC 8. I moved the mouse (and
the X) up to the corner on VC 8 so that I could be sure that I
was really seeing two different displays.

I don't know what, if anything, I may have broken by taking out
DRI, and I don't know if I can put a desktop on each VC, etc, so
I won't send out the party invitations just yet. But this is
definitely a step forward!

Now I have to play with it starting from scratch again, and see
what happens, but I just wanted to give you this interim report.

(Direct Rendering Infrastructure? So if I disable DRI, does
that mean slower screen updates?)
