You may want to check Gizmo -- http://gizmo5.com -- which is a worthy
(and IMO superior) alternative to Skype. You can change the ports it
uses in about 2 seconds through its GUI.

Gizmo has voice recording built-in, too, which may be important in a
diagnose/repair situation.

In fact, Gizmo has instructions on how to use it as a "baby monitor,"
which might be useful for you, even though you are babysitting machines,
not human babies.
